Learn how to lift the hoop off your body from waist hooping. In this class you will learn how to use your first and second hand to lift the hoop off your body, and in both directions. You will learn how to continuously lift and lower the hoop for the "vortex" move.

Yoga For All is exactly what it sounds like. It doesn't matter if you're just starting or a seasoned yogi, it doesn't matter what size you are, your age, this class is about coming as you are, and using what you have. We will be gentle, we will give options. What do you need? A mat, a wall, a couple of yoga blocks (available at any big box store or online), and a blanket. Have questions, concerns? Message me!

We will warm up the spine, then build heat as we flow through postures, linking them with breath, and will then utilize the space we have created to lengthen and strengthen the muscles used during class. Variations will be offered so that every student can enjoy a class that nurtures what THEIR body needs.

Come celebrate the Full Moon! Experience traditional hatha yoga postures with the hoop such as tree, chair, goddess pose, and a heat building warrior series plus dance transitions to link each posture into a flowing dance. With the hoop held in your hands, you'll experience the hoop as a resistance tool, support for range of motion and strength building, and as a balance assist for deepening into and adding new levels of joy to your asana practice. This class will serve as a full moon ritual. In a full moon ritual you will connect with yourself, your guides, inner being, nature, or whatever fuels your inner fire. It is a night of celebration, as well as, a night for releasing. The full moon is the most powerful energetic phase of the moon. Why not make it the most energetic time for yourself? This HoopYogini practice will help you start your new moon with intention to self, shining your inner light. Treat yourself with this yoga class using a hula hoop as a prop. The new moon: This happens when the sun and moon come into alignment; when the yang (masculine) energy of the sun merges with the yin (feminine) essence of the moon. During this phase, the moon and the sun conjoin in the sky (align at the same degree astrologically). When this happens, energetically, it's time to get still and plant new seeds of desire. During a new moon, it serves us to breathe new life into any area of stagnation or any place in your life where you would like to impact positive change. Let's breathe into life together!
